Kelle B Designs (Jams, Flowers, and more!)

Boutique services

Lubbock in the Loop is proud to showcase Kelle B Designs in today’s feature. The LITL team had the pleasure of sitting down with Kelle Barnard, owner and fantastic person, to discuss more about the passion behind the work. We appreciate her time, and here’s more about Kelle B… in her own words:

Our mission at Kelle B Designs is to design personalized living environments, heartfelt floral designs for special occasions, and craft the purest mix of fruit, love and comfort contained in a little jam jar. We hope to help people realize their full potential by indulging in the simple pleasures of life while aiding those in need of a creative spark, to create excitement and exploration in their lives by focusing on the small details that can make life more authentic.

Kelle B Designs, LLC encompasses 3 boutique services:

Home by Kelle B Logo

Home by Kelle B, my interior decorating firm, (which also includes a line of refurbished furniture, Redeemed Relics) was started in a desire to help cleints create a home that reads 100% who they are as a person, couple, or family.  When I complete a project, I want it to be beyond the outcome they had hoped for and look like their personalities have come to life in their home, not look like another “Kelle B Home.” I love using my clients’ treasures to create a haven they are happy to enjoy and show off for years to come!

FLowers by Kelle B Logo

Flowers by KelleB, is a boutique bridal and events floral design business where I try to create unique moments that highlight the clients taste and personalities through flowers. I love creating texture and depth in my arrangements and always having that unique touch that takes it over the top and speaks to something unique about the person I’m designing for.  I say it often and mean it every time, but I’m honored to be a part of such special occasions in my clients’ lives!

Kelle B Jammin' Logo

And last, but not least, my hobby turned craft food business KelleB Jammin’. Over the last year, this jammin’ business has really taken off! It all started when I began cooking jam out of my kitchen for friends and family, then started selling my jams at the Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market, and now, on to the wholesale and online food world!  I’ve managed, thankfully, to get lots of my fruit locally thanks to the Southplains Food Bank GRUB Farm and I’ve been selling the jams wholesale in local shops such as Barque, Glazed Honey Ham Co., and area wineries like Caprock and McPhersons! My goal this year is to boost my own retail sales locally and through my online shop, return to the farmers market this spring and create new relationships with local farm-to-table restaurants to craft unique recipes that highlight the many ways to indulge in jam!

I highlight all these businesses on my weekly blog and even though I’ve been doing it for several years, I still find it hard to consider myself a blogger, but in fact, I am!  Also, I’m thrilled to announce a new line of lifestyle how-to workshops that cover subjects such as floral arranging, wreath making, cooking, crafts, decorating, furniture rehab and much more!  My first workshop, Kelle B’s Valentine Flower Workshop, will be all about how to create a nontraditional flower arrangement for your Valentine! It will be held Thursday, February 11, 6:30pm-7:30pm at the Kelle B Designs Studio on 315 82nd Street. Spots are limited so sign up so you can snag your seat! If you don’t happen to make this workshop, fear not, there will be more classes coming up soon! Hope to see you there for some serious fun with flowers!

    Sharing the Love this VDAY

I plan on loving on a dear friend of my who recently lost her dad. He would always make Valentine’s special as her FIRST valentine, Dads hold a special place in any girls heart, especially a single one! We are celebrating Saturday and cooking out on cast iron (his signature style) and making the day just as special in his honor!

    Interested in the workshops!

I have a friend who is in the middle of moving into an apartment.. She is living there but between work and health issues, has not gotten things unpacked or decorating done. I would like to cook something yummy and take it to her place and we could share a meal and get some stuff done so her home feels like her home.

My husband and I have been married for 42 years! Last year he became very ill.. The doctors didn’t think he’d make it, but he did! All glory to God and his great team of doctors and nurses at UMC, MICU.. So this year, Valentin’s Day is extra special, just like him, and we will do whatever he wants… I love you, JR

I work with adults that have special needs and every holiday I do something special for them. I make them special breakfasts and goodie bags. Something to make them feel special on that certain holiday especially when they don’t spend it with their families.

This is our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple. We had colorful French macarons instead of a wedding cake, so I plan to order some for my husband in his favorite flavors.

I work with people who live with diabetes, next week, we will talk about celebrating Valentine’s Day by looking at gratitude for people you love, and low carb food choices for a delicious celebration.
Btw, I will be honoring those I love by sending love notes and little gifts. For my beloved it will include a delicious blackberry, chilpolte salmon dish for dinner …shhh

what started out early in our marriage as a date night that we could afford has turned into something we just do every year cause it is special to us and we enjoy it. We put the kids in bed early and make a favorite meal together and have a candlelit dinner at home.

I’m going to be volunteering at church for Valentine’s Day. My husband and I volunteer together, so we still get to love on each other while we are spreading the love to the congregation!
